ADA Accommodations at Michigan: Toward a More Equitable Environment

This course provides an overview of the University's responsibilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), with a primary focus on our responsibility to provide University faculty and staff with reasonable accommodations. During this session, faculty and staff with disabilities will have an opportunity to learn more and ask questions about requesting reasonable accommodations, the interactive process, and resources that are available for their support and assistance. Leaders at Michigan will receive suggestions and guidance on responding to requests for reasonable accommodations and their responsibilities and roles in the interactive process. Everyone will learn how we can become more inclusive and equitable as a university.
