Urgent Remote Instruction Allocation of Professional Development Fund for LEO Lecturers

What is the Urgent Remote Instruction Allocation of Professional Development Fund for LEO Lecturers?

After discussion between the University and LEO, there has been agreement that a portion of each of the three campus’ Professional Development Fund for LEO Lecturers may be allocated for purposes of providing assistance for expenses related to the urgent transition to remote instruction necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is a one-time re-allocation of funds, and is unique to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic we are experiencing and the resulting urgent and immediate transition to remote instruction that our faculty made due to the pandemic.  This does not establish a practice to make LPD funds available for other online instructional needs.

This program is a one-time re-allocation of LPD funds with awards limited to $250.00 of actual expenses incurred.  Dependent upon the availability of funds, and potential expenses incurred, the Committee may award up to a maximum of $500.00 for actual expenses incurred. Download an MS Word file of the application cover page
