Present a U-M initiative message to different units throughout the university. Use impactful visuals if applicable.

Create a clear and comprehensive vision statement pertaining to a change effort in your unit. Analyze the methods used by a speaker you find inspirational and motivational and apply several of those methods to your message.

Create a 30 second speech about a U-M initiative in which you are involved. Tailor the language to different audiences.

Compose and deliver a persuasive message to a community or professional organization about an approved change. Tailor language to the audiences and use compelling visual aids if applicable.

Attend Toastmaster events to improve your composition and presentation skills.
