It's time to clean out your medicine cabinet! Bring unwanted prescription or over-the-counter (OTC) medications to a Safe Medication Disposal event on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.
Safe Medication Disposal Event is a bi-annual event hosted by the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy during which unused and expired medications are collected for environmentally safe disposal. There will be two collection sites, one on Central Campus and one at Michigan Medicine.
Accepted items include prescription and OTC medications, vitamins, inhalers, ointments and lotions, and veterinary medicine. Unaccepted items include sunscreen, insect repellent, cosmetics, aerosol cans and sharps containers. These are just a few examples. View a full list of accepted and unaccepted items.
