Pico de Gallo
Ingredients

4 medium tomatoes, cores removed, cut into 1/4" dice to yield about 3 cups

1 cup fresh, chopped white onion

1 tablespoon Serrano pepper, seeded and finely chopped

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

1/2 cup loosely packed fresh cilantro leaves, chopped

1/2 teaspoon salt
-
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper or to taste
Preparation

In a medium bowl combine all of the ingredients. Stir gently to mix flavors.

Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. This tastes better when the flavors are given some time to develop. Stir again
before serving.
