GI Kiwi Ginger Kale Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 kiwi fruit, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup Tuscan(Lacinato) kale(packed)
  • 3/4 cup fresh pineapple, cut into chunks
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 3/4 cup kefir or almond milk or favorite milk alternative
  • 1/2 banana, optional

Preparation

  1. In a blender, blend all ingredients until smooth. Pour into 2 tall glasses. Drink once a day.
