Welcome to your Anti-Racism check-in for February.
February Focus: The Conversation is the Action!
We have access to many resources, courses, books and tools to learn about anti-racism. There are also opportunities to listen to those around us for what is needed to change our culture. Lately, I have been thinking about how the conversation is the action. My encouragement and challenge to you this month is to connect the avenues of learning with conversation. LinkedIn Learning has a pathway (series of learning opportunities) called How to Engage Meaningfully in Allyship and Anti-Racism. This is a great way to make your learning actionable with built in conversation prompts.
I’ll be inviting my team to join me in this pathway, engage in conversations about what we are learning, and discover how we as a team can apply what we learn.
Who in your circle can you invite to take the course, and engage in conversation with? Are there avenues to bring this to your team, your unit, your arena of influence?
