Triple Cranberry Sauce with Citrus and Spice
Ingredients

24 ounces cranberries

1/2 cup cranberry juice

2 teaspoons orange zest

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1/4 cup lemon juice

1 cup fresh orange juice

1 cup dark brown sugar

1/2 cup dried cranberries

1/4 cup crystallized ginger, chopped

1 cinnamon stick or 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper or 1/4 teaspoon pepper flakes
Preparation

In a large saucepan combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Reduce heat and allow to simmer until berries pop and mixture thickens slightly.

Transfer mixture to bowl and refrigerate until well chilled. Cover until ready to serve.
