Sunny Orange Slices with Balsamic Glaze
Ingredients

1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

1 tablespoon honey

6 navel oranges

2 tablespoons pistachio nuts, dry-roasted, finely chopped

6 strawberries cut into a fan
Preparation

Bring balsamic vinegar to a boil in a small nonreactive saucepan. Lower the heat to a simmer and cook until the volume is reduced by half. Add honey. Allow to cool.

Peel the oranges including all of the white pith. Slice oranges crosswise, then in half again. Divide between 6 serving dishes and drizzle with balsamic glaze. Top with pistachio nuts and serve garnished with a strawberry fan.
