Strawberries with Balsamic Vinegar Glaze*
Ingredients

2 pints strawberries, carefully washed

4 tablespoons confectioner's sugar

4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

Preparation

Submerge strawberries into very hot water in a salad spinner for about 8 seconds. Drain, spin dry and
refrigerate until ready to use.
Then hull and quarter strawberries, toss with confectioner's sugar. Allow to sit for 10 minutes.

Measure balsamic vinegar into a small nonreactive saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil vinegar until reduced to 2
tablespoons. Allow to cool.

Toss strawberries with cooled balsamic vinegar glaze and serve.
