Spicy Hoisin Glaze
Ingredients

1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil

2 teaspoons ginger root, peeled and grated

2 teaspoons minced garlic

1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce, such as Kikkoman or Trader Joe's

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar, not seasoned

1 teaspoon chili paste, more or less to taste

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1/4 cup hoisin sauce

salt and pepper, as desired
Preparation

In a small pan combine 1 teaspoon of the olive oil, the ginger, and garlic. Cook over medium heat until lightly golden. Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer. Remove from heat
