Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 cups whole almonds
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix together maple syrup, cinnamon, cayenne pepper and salt. Add nuts and stir to coat evenly. Pour the nut mixture onto the lined baking sheet and spread into a single layer.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until mixture is bubbly and nuts are lightly toasted. Allow to cool on sheet. When cooled break the nuts into individual pieces.
- Transfer to serving dish or store in an air-tight, sealed container for up to 3 weeks.
