Silky Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces bittersweet chocolate, broken up or buy chunks
  • 1/4 cup reduced fat coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey

Preparation

  1. In a double boiler warm the chocolate, stirring, until it is melted. Add coconut milk and stir vigorously until the mixture becomes smooth.
  2. Off the heat measure in the vanilla and maple syrup, stir to combine
