Salmon Pate

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces smoked salmon
  • 1 teaspoon garlic or more to taste, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce or as desired
  • 1 tablespoon dill weed or use your favorite herb such as lemon thyme or basil
  • 4.5 ounces soft goat cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Preparation

  1. In the bowl of a food processor fitted with the steel "S" blade, pulse the salmon until finely chopped. Add the garlic, hot sauce, fresh dill and goat cheese to the salmon. Process, using the pulse option, until evenly combined. Add the pepper, taste and adjust seasonings.
  2. Press into a mold. Refrigerate a couple of hours, then unmold onto a serving platter.
