Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Prosciutto and Shallots
Ingredients

1 pound Brussels sprouts, washed, trimmed and sliced in half

2 ounces prosciutto, diced

2 large shallots, chopped

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

1/4 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes

salt and ground pepper, to taste
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl mix all ingredients and place on parchment in a single layer. Roast in preheated oven 20 minutes or until Brussels sprouts are lightly browned, stirring halfway through.

Remove baking sheet from oven and pour 1/4 cup of water over Brussels sprout mixture, scraping up browned bits and thoroughly moistening the Brussels sprouts. Serve immediately.
