Powerfully Ginger Lemon Spritzer

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons finely grated ginger root
  • 1/4 cup black tea, cooled
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey
  • 4 ounces sparkling water

Preparation

  1. Combine the lemon juice and grated ginger in a small bowl, stir well. Strain through a fine mesh strainer or cheese cloth, pressing down on the ginger solids, into a pitcher. Stir in the tea and maple syrup or honey.
  2. Divide between two serving glasses and top with desired amount of sparkling water and enjoy.
