Crispy Kale Chips

Ingredients

  • 1 or 2 bunches of Lacinato(Tuscan)kale, about a pound, washed and dried and torn or chopped into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper, if desired
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1 pinch paprika, if desired

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350F . Line a baking sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil with the spices.
  3. In a large bowl, place the kale. Drizzle with the oil and seasonings, toss well until coated, and place onto prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for about 8 - 10 minutes, toss and rotate pan. Return to oven for an additional 4 - 5 minutes or until crispy and becomes a deep drab green, but not brown. Eat warm or allow to cool.
