Gnocchi Marinara

Ingredients

  • 2 cups marina sauce
  • 12 ounces gnocchi, gluten free if desired
  • 3 ounces Parmesan or Pecorina Romano cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 basil leaves chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives or green onions

Preparation

  1. Heat the sauce and 3 quarts of lightly salted water for the gnocchi. When water is boiling, cook according to the package directions.
  2. Drain and place into a serving dish. Toss gnocchi with the cheese and parsley. Pour tomato sauce on top and garnish with the basil and chives.
