Citrus Pound Cake with Fresh Berries
Ingredients

1 teaspoon lemon zest

3 tablespoons lemon juice

1/4 cup confectioner's sugar

8 pound cake slices

2 cups sliced strawberries

10 ounces raspberries, frozen in light syrup

1/2 pint blackberries
Preparation

In a small microwave safe bowl, combine the lemon zest, juice and confectioner's sugar and cook on high for 30

seconds. Remove from microwave and stir to combine. Arrange the cake slices onto 8 serving plates and drizzle with the citrus mixture.

Combine all the berries, including the syrup from the raspberries. Spoon onto cake and top with a small scoop of frozen vanilla yogurt, if desired.
