Workshops Offer Support with Long-term Health Problems

Are you struggling with fatigue or pain?

Are you experiencing symptoms that are affecting your daily life?

Are you feeling overwhelmed with managing a health condition?                         

Join PATH – Personal Action Toward Health – an engaging, interactive six-week workshop to help faculty, staff and their families learn new skills and tools to manage long-term health problems and live a healthier life.

Free workshops start in February and May 2018. Each workshop is evidence-based and led by certified leaders. 

PATH workshops are for you if you have:

  • Arthritis
  • High blood pressure
  • Ongoing pain or fatigue
  • Cancer
  • Kidney disease
  • Diabetes
  • Back pain
  • Other long-term health problems
  • Or are a caregiver to someone dealing with any of these conditions

Information Sessions (optional):

If you’d like to learn more about PATH, MHealthy is holding two information sessions (optional, this is not required to join PATH): 

  • Tuesday, February 6, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m., 105 South State Street, North Quad, Room 1175. Participants will need to use their MCard to get into the building.
  • Tuesday, May 8, 2018, 4:00 - 5:00 p.m., Medical Campus, exact location to be determined

PATH Workshops:

Two sessions are currently being offered. To get the most out of this experience, you are encouraged to attend all six weeks, plus the bonus session. Snacks will be provided at all sessions.

  • Tuesdays, February 13 - March 20 (bonus session March 27), 5:30 - 8 p.m., 105 South State Street, North Quad, Room 1175. Participants will need to use their MCard to get into the building.
  • Tuesdays, May 15 - June 19 (bonus session June 26), 4:00 - 6:30 p.m., Medical Campus, exact location to be determined

Earn Rewards with PATH – This program qualifies for MHealthy Rewards 2018! Benefits-eligible faculty and staff can go to the StayWell Portal to learn how to successfully complete this program to earn points towards a $100 reward.
