Understand and Mitigate Bias in the Workplace

Interested in how unconscious bias affects your perceptions, decisions and interactions?

The Unconscious Bias Learning Suite provides a review of bias, explores what bias can look like and examines how it shows up in the workplace. You will learn to recognize bias, identify how individuals participate in upholding a culture of bias, become a better colleague and more.

Understanding and mitigating bias is a lifelong journey. Start your journey today. Access the Unconscious Bias Learning Suite

This Learning Suite is an expanded replacement for the previous Unconscious Bias in Everyday Life in-person sessions from Organizational Learning. You’re encouraged to participate even if you’ve taken Unconscious Bias in the past. This is a more robust learning experience with additional learning opportunities that take the learning from awareness to skill building.

Note: If you are a Michigan Medicine employee, please note that this learning suite does not fulfill the state requirement for implicit bias education. The Office for Health Equity and Inclusion has created a self-paced online learning suite called Explore: DEI Learning Model and will have an unconscious bias online course to fulfill the state requirement available at a later date.
