If you are enrolled in the U-M Legal Services Plan, administered through Hyatt Legal Plans, your enrollment includes credit monitoring and identity protection services. In partnership with CyberScout (formerly FraudScout), the service provides single bureau credit monitoring with annual credit report and score, and cyber monitoring, which continually monitors the internet for suspicious activity involving your name and personal information. Credit and cyber monitoring is a complimentary benefit available to you only -- your dependents are not eligible for this feature.

Look for an email from CyberScout to activate your account

To receive the credit monitoring and identity protection services with your U-M Legal Services Plan enrollment, you need to activate your enrollment with CyberScout and authenticate your identity. CyberScout sends an email to those enrolled Legal Services Plan from "customer.support@e.cyberscout.com" with the subject line, "Action Required on your Hyatt Legal Plans' CyberScout Activation." The email provides activation instructions and your unique registration code. Depending on your email inbox settings, you may need to check your email Spam or Junk folder to locate the email.

The U-M Benefits Office sent an email on April 17, 2017 to members of the U-M community who are enrolled in the U-M Legal Services plan but not yet registered with CyberScout. The email provided notice that CyberScout sent an email on April 19, 2017.  New enrollees in the plan receive the email from CyberScout on an ongoing basis.
