How can I compare each U-M health plan to decide which is best for me?
Three tools can help you compare health plans. Benefits Mentor, an interactive decision support tool, is the newest. It uses your own health utilization data (if you permit) or benchmark data to analyze which of U-M’s health plans best fits your needs. Still need to compare? Use the Health Plan Coverage Comparison tool and watch the Health Plan Options video.
I’m a new employee. When do I have access to my benefit elections?
If you’re a new hire or are newly eligible for benefits, your options are available in the Benefits Self-Service tile of Wolverine Access after 8 p.m. on your date of hire or when your appointment is processed by your department and entered online, whichever is later. View more information.
