Safe Medication Disposal Event, October 4, 2016, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Do you have old prescription drugs, vitamins or over-the-counter medications that you no longer want and don't know what to do with them? U-M College of Pharmacy students are teaming with the Great Lakes Clean Water Organization's Yellow Jug Old Drugs program and Advanced Care Pharmacy Services to host an event on October 4, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for you to drop off unwanted medications for environmentally safe disposal. There are two drop-off locations:

  • Ingalls Mall on North University Avenue – look for the large white tent. Drive-up service is available.
  • North Campus Research Complex, Room G065, Building 10.

Accepted items include prescription and OTC medications, vitamins, ointments and lotions, inhalers, antibiotics and more. Unaccepted items include sunscreen, insect repellent, aerosol cans and rubbing alcohol. Visit the College of Pharmacy website for a complete list of accepted and unaccepted items.
