Interact virtually with our MHealthy chefs and dietitians as they share time saving tips, help you cut costs, and teach you how to create tasty dishes using vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans, nuts, fish, low-fat dairy, lean meat and beneficial fats.
March 2021 Cooking Class Series
Registration is open now through February 26 for the March Cooking Class Series. The cost to attend all three classes is $30.
March is National Nutrition Month, and this series will focus on knowing your ABCs and taking charge of your health and well-being by eating nutritious and delicious foods:
March 3 Class – A is for Apple:
Learn to make desserts and salads that include delicious and nutritious apples! Packed full of fiber and nutrients, apples can promote heart, brain, blood sugar and digestive health.
March 10 Class – B is for Beans:
Beans are a great source of plant-based protein and can turn any soup or salad into a hearty meal! Beans also include potassium and fiber, which can help lower your cholesterol and balance blood sugar.
March 17 Class – C is for Cabbage:
Did you know that cabbage is a powerhouse of nutrients? Whether prepared cooked or raw, its long list of health benefits includes boosting immunity, brain health and anti-cancer compounds.
These classes support the growing field of culinary medicine, which explores the links between food and health, applying the foundations of nutritional science side-by-side with traditional medical interventions in clinical care.

MHealthy will host a different cooking class series each month. Registration will open a few weeks before the first class date.
