Important Deadline 

There’s still time to make a change! Open Enrollment for 2024 benefits ends Friday, October 27, 2023 at 5 p.m. EST. Benefits included are health, dental, vision, legal services, and flexible spending accounts (FSAs).

Tools to Help You Choose

Tools and resources are available to help you find the health plan that offers the most advantages to you and your family. Before choosing a plan, consider the following:

  • All the costs involved (including premiums and out-of-pocket expenses like deductibles, coinsurance and copays)
  • The plan’s service areas and access to your preferred doctors and hospitals
  • Your anticipated health needs for you and your covered dependents
  • Your financial needs over the next year

Want to Change Your Benefits?

To change your benefits for 2024, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Wolverine Access.
  2. Click the Employee Self-Service tile.
  3. Click the Open Enrollment tile.
  4. Follow the online instructions to make your elections for 2024.
  5. When you have successfully submitted your elections, you may view or print a Confirmation Statement. 

Benefits changes and new rates go into effect Jan. 1, 2024.

Want to Keep Your Current Benefits?

If you’re happy with your current benefits, no action is required, except for Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs). If you have an FSA and want to participate in 2024, you will need to re-enroll.

Reminders

Take the time now to make sure your information is accurate. 

  • Update your beneficiaries: Check your beneficiary designations for your U-M life insurance and retirement savings plan accounts.
  • Update your address: Update your address through Wolverine Access by selecting Employee Self Service > Campus Personal Information > Addresses > Current Local.
