Cybersecurity attacks occur every 39 seconds in the U.S. With hackers becoming more creative, the more you know, the better to protect your sensitive information.

Fidelity Investments, one of U-M’s partners in the university’s Retirement Savings Plans, will offer a free webinar Thursday, Nov. 9, to offer tips on protecting your data from scammers, "dark web"-ers and more.

The event, “Personal Security Insights,” begins at 1 p.m. Discussion will include practical tips about how to protect yourself and your family against ever-evolving cyber threats, including commonly used schemes. You'll also learn about trends in personal data security, as well as how to develop your own risk mitigation strategy so you're less of a target.

Personal Security Insights is offered at no cost. Register on the Fidelity “events” page.
