We’re often at our best when we feel included and engaged. Yet we don’t always create structures--situations or discussions--that foster such engagement and allow the best ideas to come forth.
You can acquire tools and learn new techniques to help inspire innovation and empowerment at a two-day workshop on “Liberating Structures" April 6th and 7th.
Liberating Structures introduce tiny shifts in the way groups meet, plan, decide and relate to one another that can help foster inclusiveness, innovation and a positive culture.
At this workshop you will learn to:
- break down barriers and recognize and stop counterproductive structures
- promote creativity, generative interactions, and innovative ideas
- and foster a culture of purposefulness, listening, collaboration, inclusivity, trust and fun
The workshop is relevant for supervisors and aspiring leaders as well as their staff.
This event is hosted by Business and Finance and is being made available across U-M. Registration for non-B&F participants for the two-day session is $125.
