Getting your vaccinations should be at the top of your list this fall. You'll stay healthy and help protect others who might become very ill if exposed.
U-M faculty and staff have several options for receiving their vaccinations:
Michigan Medicine and Medical School
Michigan Medicine employees, learners and volunteers can get more information about getting a flu shot through Occupational Health Services.
UM-Ann Arbor and UM-Dearborn
Drop-in vaccination clinics are available to faculty, staff and students on the Ann Arbor and Dearborn campuses. Attendees must be 18 or older and should wear clothing that allows the shot to be administered in the upper arm.
Bring both your health insurance card and prescription drug insurance card. Those covered under an accepted insurance plan will not have to pay out-of-pocket. If you are not covered, you can receive a flu shot for $44, payable by check or credit card. The out-of-pocket cost for COVID-19 vaccines will be shared when available.
Ann Arbor Campus:
Drop-in vaccination clinics are available on select days across campus through early December. All remaining Ann Arbor clinics now offer both flu and COVID-19 vaccines. Check the campus clinic schedule (UMICH Level-1 password required for access) for dates, times and locations.
Dearborn Campus:
Two drop-in flu and COVID-19 vaccination clinics will take place at UM-Dearborn's University Center, Kochoff Hall A:
-
Wednesday, October 30 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
-
Thursday, November 7 from 12 – 5 p.m.
The U-M Ann Arbor campus and UM-Dearborn clinics are provided by Michigan Medicine’s Flu/Immunization Program and other partners in collaboration with MHealthy and University Health & Counseling’s University Health Service.
Off-site Vaccination Options
Faculty and staff who cannot attend a campus clinic, UM-Flint faculty and staff, and spouses/other qualified adults, dependents and retirees, can get flu or COVID-19 vaccinations at their doctor’s office, local clinic or most pharmacies.
When the flu or COVID-19 vaccination is administered at a pharmacy, there is no cost to you when using your prescription drug card. Learn more about coverage through U-M’s health plans.
