Control Your Back Pain with Free Exercise Classes

Don’t let low back pain hold you back. If you have new or reoccurring low back pain flare-ups, sign up for a free Back Care Exercise Class! Classes start in January and March. 

Whether it’s your first episode or one of many, this six-week class can help with low back pain that tends to worsen or improve depending on your activity or positioning:

  • Learn exercises that will help improve your mobility
  • Get back to moving without worsening your symptoms
  • Taught by exercise science certified instructors

Who Should Attend:

  • Open to faculty and staff
  • Ideal for anyone with new or reoccurring back pain flare-ups
  • Not recommended for anyone with consistent back pain lasting more than 12 weeks

Four Classes Available:

Each class meets twice a week for six weeks. Classes start in January and March. 

North Campus Research Complex:

Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:30 – 9 a.m.
Available January 20 – February 26, 2020 or March 9 – April 15, 2020

Wolverine Tower:

Mondays and Wednesdays, 1 – 1:30 p.m.
Available January 20 – February 26, 2020 or March 9 – April 15, 2020

KMS Building (3621 S. State St., Ann Arbor):

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:30 – 1 p.m.
Available January 21 – February 27, 2020 or March 10 – April 16, 2020

UH South:

Tuesdays and Fridays, 7:35 – 8:05 a.m.
Available January 21 – February 27, 2020 or March 10 – April 16, 2020
