Web Registration Guidelines
Registration
for the Kids Kare at Home program will be held
November 9 - 20, 2009.
Please
read the following information prior to accessing the registration website.
- You will
need your UMICH uniqname and Kerberos password in order to login to
the registration form. If you do not know your uniqname or Kerberos
password please contact ITCS at http://www.itd.umich.edu/4help/uniqname.html or call
(734) 764-8000, Mon-Fri 8:00-4:30.
- To move through the online registration form, use the TAB button.
- All items (fields) that appear in Bold on the form must be completed. If one of these fields is not completed you will receive an error message asking you to go back and supply the missing information in order to complete your registration.
- You must read the terms
and conditions as outlined in the Parental
Rights and Responsibilities, Billing Procedures, Child Care Checklist, and Caregiver's Instructions documents. Please print these documents
and retain for your records.

- You must hit Submit at the bottom of the form in order to complete your registration. Following a successful registration, you will receive an immediate on-screen confirmation.
This confirmation will contain the rate that you will be charged for
use of the program. Please print this confirmation and retain it for
your personal records. If you do not receive a confirmation, please
call the Work/Life Resource Center at (734) 936-8677.
- If you experience technical
difficulty during the online registration, or have any further questions
about the Kids Kare at Home program please call the Work/Life Resource
Center at (734) 936-8677.
Disclaimer: The University of Michigan’s Kids Kare at Home program is offered as an option for parents/guardians. The use of the program should be carefully considered by parents/guardians, taking into account individual situations and preferences. The caregivers for this program are screened and trained through a vendor, Safe at Home. Caregivers receive 8-10 hours of combined classroom and self-led training. The University of Michigan Work/Life Resource Center does not endorse or recommend any individual caregiver.
