Eldercare - Facts, Communication, Roles and Resources
If you’re already caring for an elderly loved one, preparing to care someone elderly or know someone who is caring for someone elderly, this presentation will provide insight relative to the caregiving process. Topics covered include, but are not limited to: common eldercare issues, your family roles as barriers to communication, as well as community resources that assist with housing, Medicare/Medicaid, long term care transitioning, counseling and support groups.

But balance is something that occurs over time, and while you’re working at it, your kids are growing up. What can you do to minimize missing out on the important things? In this session, we’ll talk specifically about the “life” part of work/life.

Work/Life Integration at the University
Faculty and Staff with hectic lifestyles are in need of services that will offer them some relief. Do you know how Work/Life programs can benefit you? Do you know what university resources are available to you to help integrate your work and personal life? This workshop will provide you with an overview of what work/life is, what university programs are available to you as well as exercises to help you assess your current level of work/life integration.
A brief, 10-15 minute presentation on Work/Life Resource Center programs and services is also available.
