University of Michigan
Retention Toolkit: Resources for Retaining Valued Staff

Background Information

The Retention Strategy Project was a recommendation from the 2007 Diversity Blueprint Initiatives. Its purpose is to provide proactive mechanisms to identify and respond to staff that are at risk of leaving the university. The goals are to develop diagnostic tools and templates to support retention efforts, including a retention interview process for individual units to use with staff.
