Discrimination & Harassment Have No Place at Michigan

Creating and sustaining a welcoming climate requires mutual respect for all. And that means discrimination and harassment are not acceptable at the University of Michigan.

Campus Commitment, a University-wide educational program, provides clear definitions of discrimination and harassment prohibited by University policy, as well as contact information for University resources and ways to report concerns. Its goal is to contribute to an environment of civility and respect in which all members of the University community can work and learn.

This website is your resource to learn more about Campus Commitment, The University’s Nondiscrimination Policy Statement, the Prohibited Forms of Discrimination and Harassment and Where to Get Help.

You can also use this website to contact the Office for Institutional Equity. By using the contact form you can request information about Campus Commitment training and discussion sessions for your unit. You can also use the form to anonymously contact OIE officials regarding issues of discriminations and harassment.
