Health Education Resource Center

For the past decade the MHealthy Health Education Resource Center (HERC) has been helping patients, staff, and the community get the health information they need. The HERC offers programs and health materials to meet your health needs throughout your lifetime.

UMHS patients, health care providers and employees as well as the community can use this website to search our health information library. To request additional information or check-out materials from the HERC, register on-line, email your requests, or call our library at 734-647-5645 or toll free at 1-800-433-MFIT (6348).

We are open Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. We are closed daily from 12:30 - 1:00 pm for lunch. The HERC is located on the first floor of the East Ann Arbor Health and Geriatrics Center, 4260 Plymouth Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48109.

Holiday Hours

The HERC will be closed November 26-27, December 24, 25, 31 and January 1.
