Healthy Habits for Weight Management isn't just about weight loss. It's about learning healthy habits so you'll have more energy and feel better for life. It's about moving your body, eating nutritious food and maintaining a positive attitude, even when you have a temporary set back. It's about taking a healthy lifestyle journey with health professionals from the University of Michigan as your guides.

Program Includes
- 18 contacts with the Healthy Habits for Weight Management team within your first 12 weeks. This includes six one-on-one consultations!
- Consultations include measurements of the following health parameters: cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, body measurements, weight, aerobic capacity, strength, and flexibility
- 12 weekly interactive group sessions
- 6 and 12 month follow-ups
- Unlimited access to registered dietitians, health and fitness specialists and health behavior specialists
- 50% off a 3-month membership at the MFit Fitness Center
- A step counter
- Low-fat cookbook
- Healthy Habits for Weight Management program binder
- 12 months of motivational emails
You get all of this for a total program cost of less than $14 per session. U-M employee discounts available.
Weight loss program costs may be eligible for reimbursement through your flexible spending account. Check with your benefits office.
