Just a Minute
(Department Level Activity)
Just a Minute is a six-week program designed to help you increase your daily physical activity by encouraging you to incorporate 30 minutes of moderate activity into your life at least five days a week. This program helps inactive individuals realize how easy it is to add activity into one's daily routine, while also helping active individuals stay motivated and on track.
Just a Minute is designed to help you:
- Learn how to get started on being more active
- Learn how to incorporate small doses of physical activity into a daily routine
- Stay on track once a regular activity plan is established
- Bring activity to the next level
- Set and achieve a personal goal of being active for at least 30 minutes a day by tracking activities in 10-minute increments.
Session I begins May 20 (request form must be submitted by May 15). This is a Rewards eligible activity for benefit eligible faculty and staff.
