Creating a Healthier U

MHealthy Rewards

“I went to my wellness screening in February thinking it would be a regular check of my blood pressure, weight, and glucose, and everything would be normal, just like last year. I was very wrong. Thanks to the wellness screening, I took their advice and went to my doctor and it was confirmed that I have Type 2 diabetes. Without this screening the diabetes may have gone undiagnosed for many months.” Cindy B., Internal Medicine-Rheumatology

More than 13,000 benefits-eligible faculty and staff have already completed their MHealthy Rewards wellness screening, and thousands more are scheduled to attend a screening before the program ends in late April. A screening is more than getting your blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, weight and height checked. It is an opportunity to sit down with a StayWell health professional and privately go over your results, set a health goal, develop an action plan and find out what health and well-being programs are available to help you maintain or improve your health. Completing both the screening and health questionnaire will earn you $100 and a chance to win one of several $500 gift cards. Your 30-minute screening can be scheduled here. If you can’t make an appointment, walk-ins are welcome at a number of locations.
