Application Procedure
Please visit our website for a current listing of position openings and more detailed instructions. Graduate students who are interested in applying for a position should contact the appropriate instructor. The GSI Application Form can be picked up in the Student Academic Affairs Office (1343 EH) and must be submitted to the Student Academic Affairs Office. Tentative GSI assignments will be announced approximately three weeks after applications are due. ALL FIRST-TIME GSIs are required to attend the CRLT (Center for Research on Learning and Teaching) Graduate Student Instructor Orientation as well as the Psychology GSI Orientation. ALL RETURNING GSIs will be required to attend one day of the Psychology GSI Orientation. All GSIs who are teaching courses for the first time which include a Sweetland Writing Center percentage, are required to attend training sessions scheduled by that program.
